Birmingham City Council – Yenton Primary School

Honeybourne work for many schools direct through their own facilities company or through other surveyors.

A recent project was at Yenton Primary School in Birmingham to upgrade the school training rooms and teaching areas whilst the school day was still operating. This project was fraught with unknown situations that could possibly arise due to the limited access and the school remaining open throughout the duration of the project.

The school building work was particularly challenging as the rooms sometimes were occupied and access to them was only through the main entrance/circulation areas.

The project was successfully completed and the children and staff can now enjoy their new environment.

Deputy Headteacher, Mrs K Hemming at Yenton Primary commented:

“I would like to take this opportunity to let you know how pleased we have been, as a school with the work carried out by Honeybourne. Their work has been of the highest quality and everything that has been asked of them has been completed effectively and most importantly, on schedule. The site has been clean and tidy throughout, with very little disruption to the daily routines of our school. They have also carefully followed our safeguarding procedures and have liaised and worked closely with the office and site staff. I would not have any hesitation in recommending them and the quality of the work to another setting.”
